USA Rolls – Canfield

In 2009 Kevin Sheldon returned home to open USA Rolls. As he tells the story, this was a time when bank loans were tough to get. MVEDC and First National Community Bank were able to partner and provide USA Rolls with an equipment loan package necessary to begin the company on a thriving journey. Since that time, these loans were paid off, and the company has flourished over the last five years. They are looking to break past years’ sales with record sales in 2015 and have increased their staff as well.

MVEDC has helped USA Rolls with their most recent purchase of 445 West Main Street in Canfield, which is next door to the existing facility and will allow them to increase growth opportunities. The additional facility will first be used for storage and then expand into the repair market of roll fabrication in the future.

USA Rolls’ blended process of traditional, industry-wide roll building methods — tempered with lean manufacturing principles — drives faster lead times, lower costs and guaranteed deliveries. In addition, they are now capable of building rolls and flaking drums to the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code, Section 8 division 1.
